Default does the vafc keep pre-tuned memory after unistalled

i wanted to kno, i took my v-afc off my car because i was going to sell it but the person bailed out on me and now i decided to keep it, if i reinstall it will it still have the pre-tuned information that it had or am i gonna have to take it back to the shop to have them re-tune if for me

I would have to say yes, at least for awhile cuz when I relocated my battery obviously the car had no power, but the Vafc was unaffected.

it has an EPROM in it (a chip that remembers)....cause every time you turn off your car it looses power just as if the battery was removed...so your fine .....it will hold for somtime

Well that reasoning may be over simplifying it. I mean you turn your car off and your radio doesn't need to be re-coded. Why? Cuz it has a constant 12v power supply.

6 days after i got my vafc tunned on the dyno my b16 blew, my car was in my garge for 4 months with the vafc removed, when i got it running with my ls/vtec, it keept every setting
