does vafc have rev limit control?
decisions, decisions.....
i like the fact that vafc has tuneable fuel curves and adjustable vtec point....
i like the fact that hondata is pretty much totally customizeable....
too bad the nearest hondata dealer/tuner is 4 hours away.....
any thoughts?

My cars got p30 in it now, obd1, max rev is 8200 tho, I'd like to go 8500 maybe 9k max.
I'm trying to decide at the moment whether to get the p30 chipped with higher rev limit, and vafc, and have it tuned at a dyno 3 hours away......
OR just go hondata and have it tuned at the nearest hondata tuner thats 4 1/2 hours away....
either way, its a long trip to get tuning done, so my question is, which one would make more sense, especially with turbo plans for the future?
thanks for the input fellas.

you mean SCI-L or the new digital SCI w/ built in drag launch? Either one is good.
you dont have to really spend money getting the apex tuned on a dyno. Usually if you have an A/F gauge, the time and the traffic-free roads you can get it pretty close to where the dyno is going to be. It'll cost you less. I'd still go to the dyno but only for a couple runs not a "full tuning" session.
