Default Dodge v10

I know this is off-topic, but maybe someone can point me to the right place or knows by accident.

Ok, I'm doing some research for a project before i start buying parts.
Is Doge Viper V10 block the same thing as the v10 block that comes in ram 2500(not ramm 1500 SRT-10) with different bore/stroke?
Also if so will the heads of Viper V10 bolt up to the Ram V10?
What is the difference between Viper V10 and Ram V10 long blocks if block is the same?
Thanks in advance,
-V-

I believe the viper block is aluminum and I know the truck is iron.I think the viper heads will fit but the manifold is different.I did some work on a guys pulling truck with twin turbo v-10.

Thank a lot! Huge help!
If I was to use truck block and bolt up viper heads, will i have to mess with changing out bottom end?(i.e. different bore/stroke, compression, different size journals)?

Aluminum and iron have different expansion rates. You might want to look into that before you bolt the aluminum heads on the iron block.

Almost every performance domestic engine has an iron block w/aluminum heads.

To the OP you should probably checkout some Viper forums. There are several viper builders in the country that could easily answer your specific questions.
