Default Do weight affect dyno hp numbers?

I have a LS sedan and the dyno guy put in 2900lbs as vehicle weight. Book says 27xxlbs. Looking back, should I have corrected him? Get me a more correct dyno #s?

chassis dyno?

Nope, it wouldn't affest any of the numbers.

WYSIWYG...Though you do have to correct for altitude and such.

Woops. should have been more specific. It's a dynapack dyno. Not dynojet/roller dyno.

Those are the ones that attach to the hub on the drivewheels, right?

The weight still shouldn't matter. Unless they printed you an acceleration sheet, which would take into consideration the vehicle weight, and wheel diameter.

It will only affect the HP when you apply the load thru the hub.
