Default Dyno pulls on a Mustang Dyno

How accurate are the Mustang Dyno's? I noticed a section that asks for the cars weight, does that make a difference in determining the HP the dyno reports? What are the advantages/disadvantages?

As a generalization they give somewhat lower numbers.

Be sure to weight your car. Dont go by their numbers they are way wrong. We have a Mustang dyno and it works perfect when its working. There seems to be somtimes where the software doesnt like to work for no reason at all. Then 20 minutes later its fine.

The weight input doesn't have anything to do with HP/torque measurements, but the Mustang dynos have capability to test 0-60, quarter mile, etc. with simulated road load - for these to be anywhere near accurate you need accurate weight and coast-down tests.

you have to add in the crap factor. you see all mustangs are crap and they are judged from on a scale of 1-10.
