Default Do They Make Or Sell Performance Hub Bearings???

Okay any of you ever in a mechanic shop and with your hand spin the wheel on a car that was on the lift. You ever notice how some cars take a little strength to spin and as soon as your hand comes of that wheel it stops right away, then on the other hand there are cars that when you do the same it'll take less effort and the wheel will spin freely for a couple of seconds after your hand releases.

Now what I wanna know is do they have a low friction performance bearing that'll spin freely very easily. The reason I ask is because I can imagine how much you can shave off your 1/4 mile time with such a bearing due to the engine using less effort. They make em for roller blades so why not cars.

and the wheel doesnt stop because of bearings, brakepads touch the disk a bit and that causes friction aswell.

I remember reading a post a while back when a guy was getting his wheel and axle bearings, and his tranny internals coated with a low friction material, i can't find the thread though. It was for his drag car i believe.

They make low friction bearings for rollerblades because the wheels on a rollerblade spin alot faster than the wheels of a car. If you had a car that could go 200 mph, sure.
