Hey guys. I am replacing a clutch in my 99 Si and have a couple of questions.
1) Do I need to remove the driver side axle too or only the passenger side?
2) Do I need to remove the shift linkage?
3) Do I need to remove any part of the exhaust?
Thanks for the help.

Its a lot easier to line the tranny back up with the half shaft and driver side axle off. I always take it out doesnt take long. Shift linkage has to come off and you need to disconnect the exhaust from the cat.

Now to get off the driver side axle, since it is longer it has a half shaft i guess it is called, it is bolted on the car with a bracket right? I need to remove that bracket then i can pry out the axle?

This is my first time doing a clutch but i dont see why you would need to do this? Arent you splitting the tranny before the shift linkage? And why would you need to remove the cat? Thanks for all the help
