Do I have bad computer? code 22 before I even start car
So I bought a p28 used. (it took the guy 2 weeks two ship after I asked him to and now I think its bad)
- I am getting a code 22 before I even start the car. I have checked grounds and power ckts for my VTEC pressure switch and swapped pressure switches.
Here's the real kicker but I'm fairly good with electrical. I have an obd0 to obd1 conversion harness from Rywire. The way they wired the harness, the 02 sensor and VTEC pressure switch share grounds. Well after I start the car I get a code 41 - 02 heater ckt. I checked grounds and they were good but I'm getting 7.25 volts from the pcm to O2 sensor on the heater ckt.
So here's the deal. The components share grounds but the grounds check out good from the pcm. My question is should I be getting a code 22 after clearing codes AND before I even start the car?? Do I have a bad pcm. I'm trying to get one to borrow.
Please give me your insight
