Default DIY Tachometer LM3914-N

Hi, i just complete build tach light, but fail to add some blinking function using NE555 ic.

can it tap out from led dot signal to NE555 circuit so i can get blinking LED as shift light.

Just think tu tap NE555 circuit but fail, any suggestion anyone. THIS DIAGRAM WORK FOR TACH ONLY

times? input signal comes from the coil, which gives current to the spark plugs?

Here you can refer it from this manual, this project installation same with product on manual.

yES input signal from -Coil that gives current to spark plugs.

Wow I can't believe how old the 555 timer ic and 3914 bargraph driver is and yet it is still so versatile to this very day! Good job btw
