Default DIY anit-reversion chambers.

Well since i pulled my head off i'm going ot polish it up and then i started thinking about anti-reversion chambers. now for the intake side would i mill some material off the head so that way the port on the head is bigger then the port on the intake manifold. and then for the exhaust side would i mill out the flange on the header?

then another question. wouldn't these anti-reversion chambers cause turbulance in the air coming in as it goes from a smaller diameter to a larger one. any suggestions welcome. TIA

i thought the step actually helped mix the fuel and air better. i would think good for the intake side bad for the exhaust side.

anytime it steps from smaller to larger it helps reduce reversion.

but what about air flow. will it decrease or stay the same. also how much of a step would be needed. thanks for the input
