Distributor wiring fix

So my car was stolen and the wiring to the distributor was cut and the distributor stolen. D16y7. Would it work if i got the correct pig tails from the junk yard and soldered them back on?

The obvious answer is yes. The not so obvious answer is it depends on your abilities.

As long as you're capable, yes. Just be sure to stay within year range. 96-98, or 99-00.

also dont solder in the engine bay, crimp the wires.
