I bought a very inexpensive Accord '89, A20A1 engine, auto tranny and carb. The distributors were in the back seat...one is a TEC TD42k...the other Hitachi DRNR84-58...any way to determine which distributor is correct?

I called a Honda dealership and spoke w/ a fellow in parts...he said either one should work...lol...figures...does anyone see a problem w/ his advice...the TEC is in much better conditon. Would it hurt the engine if it's not the right one?
