Default distributor troubles.

I have a 94 Integra with an OBD2 GSR head on it. The people before me made the OBD2 dizzy work on the car put it is throwing a check engine light. My question is does anyone know of a reputable aftermarket distributor manufacture. OEM ones are hard to find and expensive. IF I could get some info on the pitfalls of some aftermarket ones that would be great.

Your pretty sure its not the igniter or the coil? If so I would pick up a dizzy that needs a rebuild. 9 times out of 10 its a bad igniter or coil or both. Simply move your parts over.

I highly advise against the Taiwan/China aftermarket dizzies. Simply bad...tried one once due to a bind and the fork that attaches to the cam broke...

Ya, I'm not a fan of the cheap stuff even though finding a stock dizzy can be pricey. the car runs great so I don't think its the ignitor. I just want the check engine light off and was wonder if there was a reputable aftermarket solution that wasn't MSD.
