Default Distributor question...

Is there a difference between say a 99 Ls distributor and a 99 Si distributor? If so what is the difference? Can I make a nonvtec distributor work on a vtec engine?

yes it is possible, I have a 99 LS distributor on my LS/VTEC B17 head. One of the mounting pegs were cutoff and modified, but It is only temporary and I plan on getting a Vtec distributor soon. (The guy that modified it called it peg legging the distributor.)
