I have a concern, i have an H22a and the distributor shaft gear inside of it broke. So it mest up the sensors inside. So what I did, i replaced all the inside parts with the inside parts of an old distributor,since everything looked the same. I replaced everything exactly, now the question is. does anythign have to be within specs i.e. the inside sensors???because sumtimes ill turn the car on and it will cut of at 3500rpms, i could turn the car off and back on and it goes back to normal. sumtimes ill even have a difficult time turning it on once i shut the car off....any help would be appreciated....

when you took it off did you put it exactly the same spot on the motor as were it was at there is a lil room for adjusting it to the head and did you have to replace the cap.

 

if ur refering to the dizzy, yea i put it back close to where it was b4 i took it out. but the way the car idle n run was tottally different, so i advanced it til it idle'd better. n yea the cap was replaced
