OK. The engine is b18c5 and the car,harness, and ECU is 99 si. I hooked the harness up and no spark. The coil primary and negative are both getting 12V when the key is turned over, but when I take a plug wire and plug and try to get them to ground and spark all the coil does is lose all its voltage. No spark at all. I went to Honda and he said its prolly my firing mechanism..WTF is that?!..man this really sux..what could it be?

Yep they are both supposed to get 12V.

 

check all grounds and wire for starter, etc. also fuse cover

its the icm you can use any honda one i am running a gsr head with a gsr housing and a 94 dx igniter and coil ect....

Well is it the igniter for sure? Because that thing cost 150 bucks...how can i cehck and see if mines good?

 

if the ignitor is firing then your spark plugs should be covered in fuel as the injectors take their signal from the ignitor, so crank the engine a few times and pull one of the plugs and examine the electrode for wetness, if it is wet then the ignitor is working

 

Funny thing you said that...My fuel pump wont even put out fuel pressure...you think thats my problem?

 

double check all grounds. Have had a problems before that sound the same and it was just a ground not hooked up.

 

They are all hooked up. I have went over them numerous times.

 

pull the igniter out and check the resistance across it forgot which prong but if you got a manual it will tell you if the fuel pump is not coming on it could be the fuel pump fuse
