Distributor dying...help
Looks like my barring is going out on the distributor, drove other car to work today cause i dont wanna **** up my cams, anyhow, anyone have any lucky with replacing the barring, i dont really wanna buy another distrbutor...

well, I havent actually gotten around to it, cant untill friday, my day off, right now im driving my g/f's car back and forth, and im having a friend check some junk yard for a few parts i need, but if i have to replace the bearing allone it look like the only involved part is going to be getting the bearing on to the dist rod... sounds like im going to need a machine shop to do that.
its a good old b16a3, I priced the distributor "a rebuilt one" at that for 180 including the core charge,... ouch...

ya what about newer cars?? i have a 96 civic....i can hear a clicking/tapping noise under the hood, but those turds at honda just said that it was my injectors..but they're pretty retarded..so i duno?? any help?
looks like the solution was to replace the dist rod and internal pieces, the old distributor was so screwed that the rod was bent some, and the plastic cover was scratched to hell. ouch...
