Default distributor bearing problem

at the track last night my cel came on for a code 4(cylinder position). i pulled the dizzy apart and the bearing behind the first pickup was shott. behind that bearing is another pickup and the gear for that rubbed away the pickup and the car wont rev over 3500. just wondering if you guys ever had an issue like that before

Default Re: distributor bearing problem (nvmyb20hatch)

Had something similar happen on my 93 LX...the dizzy was totally shot, just get a new one and be done with it. Honda dizzys are good while they last, but when they go, they tend to go big. Mine actually seized and stopped the engine. Good thing I was at a red light and not on the highway....
