Yeah, those cams are huge for that engine. Post a scan?

Your other option would be to invest in some very serious headwork, a damn good header/exhaust, and perhaps a thinner headgasket.

Did you tune the motor or just dyno it? Cause I had a 1st gen b16 with a very similar setup and at first it took a **** on the dyno. But after playing with the fuel and cam timing i put out 173 on church's dyno.

If it's not tuned and you just dynoed it the motor probably runs like crap and when vtec hit it just fell flat on its face.

yeah bro i had the guy tune it on the dyno...he said that he wasnt gonna touch my cams because it wouldnt make a difference at this point..i think he was just lazy and didnt wanna take the valve cover off...why would they make adjustable cam gears if they dont do anything im just kinda mad cuz everyone tells me that this guy is a good tuner and he made less power than my motolr was makin before....i mean i know that the cams are big in this motor but it shouldnt be droppin power like that..**** i gotta go to work ..peace!

Yeah, I would go with a different tuner. You have to play with the cam gears to get the most power out. Also, when you put the cams in did your timing suddenly retard itself? Something very similar happened to a friend of mine when he put in sk2st2 cams. The motor went into limp mode and when vtec engaged it sounded like his engine was going to blow up.

yeah i definetely wanna go to a different guy...but im not ecstatic about having to shell out another hundred bucks or more...yeah the timing was way screwy...we fixed it but it didnt seem to do much...the guy was kinda a dick though so i doubt that i will be going back to him...
