Disable ATTS in 5th gen Prelude SH.
Hey,
I was wondering if there was any possible way to disable ATTS in our 5th gen's.
It robs about 5hp, 5ft/lbs of torque at the wheels.
I want to be able to disable it for 1/4 mile runs, every bit counts.
Is there a fuse that could be pulled, or is it even possible, easily?
Thanks,
Mike

Re: Disable ATTS in 5th gen Prelude SH. (97LudeSH)
i don't think u will regain the power by disabling it..
cause from what i konw..it's the fact that the power as togo through it thatmakes u loose some power at the end..
not because is it ON ..
like if u would have to go trhough 2 trannys in a row..u would loose a lot of power cause of that ..

Disabling it wont gain you anything- the loss is from the atts unit being the final drive and bieng part of the driveline.
