Default Difficulty shifting after clutch install

Ok, the clutch engages fine and everything seems to have gone well, my issue is that now it seems alot harder to shift, like it takes alot more effort to move the shifter, it feels like im having to force it through something. It doesn't grind even in high rpm shifts, its just that I can't really shift quickly because it takes so much effort to get it into gear, primarily 2nd gear.

What can I check that might have been messed with in the clutch install? Could the tranny fluid being low cause this? I was thinking maybe the shift linkage? Throw out some things for me to check, for now I plan on doing a full tranny fluid flush to see if that will help, what do you guys think?

after the car is fullly warmed up, jack up the car and see if the wheels spin when the tranny is in gear but the clutch is depressed. if so the clutch isnt disengaging all the way making it difficult to shift.

did that, no wheel spin, what do you suggest next? I am gonna change the tranny fluid to motor oil, I think they put syncromesh in. I'll let you know how that goes but in the mean time could you suggest some more tests?

I was lookin at that while I was under there and it does seem like it was over tightened, i'll redo it here in a few, it takes so damn long to refill that tranny with a tiny tube, i'm changing my oil and my oil return line to a stainless steel braided line so it'll be a few before I can get to drive it.

Well they did overtighten the nut/bolt that hold the shift rod to the short shifter, the bearings were crushed in a little bit by the washers, I took the bearings out and they wouldn't spin at all... got some wd40 out and a hammer and they spin now but it's real notchy feeling, packed some grease on them and reinstalled loosely, it feels better now but I haven't taken it for a test drive because I'm waiting on some thread lock to dry on my oil return line before I go for a test drive. Any idea where I can get the bearings for a skunk2 short shifter?
