i recently install a exedy clutch in my ls tranny and when driving yesterday on 5th gear it pops right back into neutral. i shift it back to 5th and let go my clutch and it goes in and out without using my stepping on my clutch. could this be a tranny problem or its the clutch?

Check your tranny fluid level, when it is low it does this too.

Also, if that doesn't work, check the tightness of the shift linkage points.

 

what would of happen if my tranny makes a whistle sound?
