Default Differences in Trannys

How much different is the LS tranny than the GSR tranny (both 94-01). I am going to boost and i know the Ls is better for that but how much better will it be. The thing that i notice most is that the Final drives. 4.26 to 4.40. 1st and 2nd gear ratios are the same, which i would think are most cruical. But will that final drive come into play with that as well?

Sorry no one cares.

Use the ls tranny. Turbo cars are fast anyway, you may as well have to top end too.

I've heard ls tranny synco's and diff are weak. Can you put the ls final drive in a gsr. I heard that the gsr tranny's are better built. More versitile.

I really don't know much about the gsr tranny, but all i know is that people in my area us an LS tranny because the gears are taller. By the gears being taller you stay in boost longer.

go with the ITR. LSD is a plus especially if you're on boost.
