Default Differences in Machine Shops!!!

My cousin is building a lsvtec and got his motor sleeved.
This is what it looked like when it arrived...it was in decent order he got it from Hmotorsonline...he liked them and would recommend them again.

Then he took it to ACTION AUTOS MACHINE SHOP IN SHORELINE,WA because he wanted it sleeved. They fucked it up and said the block was basically destroyed and unusable.

Then the guys at SPARK RACING took care of him and sent it out to RS MACHINE shop

You decide who did better...

Dan GSR: no they did not pay for his block...just sent him home with it and said that it is fucked. And then after all that told him to come back when he had another block so they could try again!! All my cousin wanted was to resleeve the block and they went overboard on the boring. Do Not Ever go to this shop!!

I don't think that the one machine shop knew what they were doing by the looks of it.

I would take the original machine shop to small claims court and sue for what it cost to have the job done right.

actually they did not screw it up cuz what you see here is the aluminum jacket that goes around the stock iron sleeve all they had to of done was mach it down and get some ductile sleeves and press in and cryogen the block and you got a bitchen block thats gonna last a long time
