Could anyone tell me the internal differences between and OBDI DOHC & OBDII DOHC distributor if any. Also the differences between and OBDI SOHC & OBDII DOHC. Other than the wire harness I mean. Like are the ICM's & coils different or is it just a difference in the harness.

My problem is my Ignition Control Module on my GSR OBDII disributor burnt out and I wanted to know if I could use teh ICM from a SOHC OBDI distibutor. I tried the module but the car won't idle right or stay on for long. Thanks in advance.
