Default difference between LS header and ITR header

i own a 95 rs w/ a 98 B18C-R. when we put the motor in we used the stock LS exhaust manifold because of the collector size and length of the ITR one. i'm getting a header and i wanna get a LS header so that it's a direct bolt on and don't have to worry about it not reaching my cat.
basically i wanna know is there a difference between the LS header/ITR header that an aftermarket company makes....like DC Sports. or is it basically the same specs and the only difference is length. i know they make a jdm header w/ a 2.5 collector but i'm tyring to keep it simple and don't want to weld **** together.

The header has to match the head.

B18C motor needs the appropiate header made for the car. Welding shouldn't be difficult, you can take it to your local muffler shop, they'll charge you like 30 bucks or so.

i don't want to be the one to argue, but if you say the header has to match the head than why am i using a stock LS header on my car right now. it fits perfect and is the perfect length to the cats pipe.

and the end of all this i think i'm just gonna go out and get a jdm header w/ the 2.5in collector and just run a straight pipe to my exhaust. not sure i want to switch the headers everytime i get an inspection though.

Comptech uses the same header for both GS/LS/etc. and ITR applications. Certain other manufacturers may possibly use different sized tubing, or adjust the primary/secondary length between their LS and ITR headers, but the overall length, and the flange of each will always be the same.
