Difference in B16A and B18C1 breather box?
Does anyone know if there is a different in design of the B16A and the B18C1 breather box? They have different part numbers, but is one bigger than the other or is the internal design different? Thanks
im thinking capacity and design are almost the same,
with the only difference being the b18c1 has the main difference on how it fits the block and how it connects to the intake manifold since it snails downwards.

I believe that Fobtions is correct about them being pretty much the same, other than the PCV hook up.
I recently installed a Skunk2 intake on my B18C and this is what I found;
On the GSR, the PVC valve plugs directly into the air box. As a result, the grommet and hole for it is larger than the other line.
When going to the ITR style routing of the PVC, the valve is mounted on the manifold and it's just a tube that goes to the air box. At the box, there is a small adapter that plugs into the grommet. (It's smaller in diameter than the PCV valve)
What I did was purchase the adapter and just use black silicon sealer to glue it in place.
