Default diesel transmissions and gear ratios

what diesel transmissions are there in other countries, and what motors are they from .. ie: b series, d series, f series..

and if possible, anyone know what gear ratios the transmissions are?

looking for a longer first gear..

I've heard of the accord diesel, could be an f series.. but is it possible there is a b series diesel transmission with a longer first gear and/or lower final drive ratio??

There is no diesel B series, that's sort of a silly thing to say. And even if there was a gear that could fit in your trans from a diesel, you don't want it. You would be doing 55 in first, put it in second and get another 5 mph... Try a lower final drive, if anything.

If you want a longer first gear, start in second.

well if you dont mind spending some cash, you can get a custom gearbox from quaife. they will build it to your specs (ratios) and can even make it a six speed.
juss my two cents. or get one of their torque bias diffs.
