Default Detonation in the b20. What to do??

I have a crvtec setup with 12.5-1 compression. I am getting pinging at midrange from my car and reducing the timing to 12 degress didnt do the trick. I am running b17 cams in a type r head. My vafc is is turned up positive all through the power band. Regulator is set at 50 psi. Do I need to upgrade injectors or are the stock valves getting too hot from the compression creating that pinging. Other than that the car runs hard and vtec kicks ***. Only pinging a narrow throttle, not full.

pull more timing.. The stock injectors are probably maxed out too.
