This is my daily driver so i'm in need of desperate help so i can get to work , the car is stuck in the parking lot of a mall 30 km's from my house... i left it there and came home after 3 hrs of dealing with it


here's the story:

I left work, jumped in my Car, weather was nice, so i opened the top (i have a transtop so it's auto) turned up the stereo and went to the mall

while waiting in traffic near the mall (about 15 mins of driving later) i noticed the dash lights seemed dimmer..

i parked and when i was putting the roof up it goin EXTRA slow.. like whole thing usually takes like 30 secs... but it dragged out to like a minute.. I was like **** the battery is dead...
i turned off the car after the roof closed and low and behold dull Click and that's it...
so i went into the mall had some eats at KFC then came back out and thought i'd try for the hell of it... the car started right up... so i thought i'd let it idle for awhile...
about 10 mins of idling later i started driving the car a little and then it just stalled on me.. i rolled to a stop.. and the car wouldn't start...

I jumped the car... and now all sortsa weird stuff started happening...

the car idled for a bit... i tried turning the headunit on, it just turns itself off...

all the guages went loopy... I turn on the lights the whole car bogs down and dies..
i leave them off sometimes the whole dash is dead and sometimes the tach would work with really slow and late response...

so i was like what the hell i'll drive the car with no lights slow lane to my house...

so i pull out.. and start driving then the car is boggin down... like it idles ok but as soon as u give it some gas it's cutting off... like there's no fuel..

then it stalled again...

battery still dead, not charged at all...

I boost it again... the car works ok for a couple mins lights turn on and stuff and then the whole problem starts allover...

i checked all the main fuses, they seemed ok...

i thought it was maybe the FPR or the Fuel pump... but i don't think so cuz why are all the guages goin loopy... i'll lose all electricals..

the windows don't work, the Hazards don't work turning the lights on make the revs dip all the way down till it stalls.. especially high beams...

i didn't even Wanna try the transtop...

it's almost like the car has a computer virus

dead battery is one thing... but what's with the electricals goin nuts allova sudden...

i did a search on engines boggin, but couldn't find any similar symptoms...

HELP!!! pleaaaase!!!!

 

The battery is not charging after the car is jumped.

Check your alternator belt first, and then your alternator. Also, once it's fixed trickle charge your battery.
