defi wiring ?

i got a set of defi gauges and was wondering about the 4 wires
12v=power constant
illumination=power when lights are on
ground=ground
ignition?

does ignition = power when hot or do i wire it to the ign3

ignition means power when key is turned to on or acc.

i ended up searching the internet and found installs on other companies egt gauges and figured it out thank you
