My defi f/p gauge seems to be malfunctioning/unaccurate. Basically the needle is just bouncing around like crazy. Should I just get a mechanical one or what are my other options?

sounds like you need a new sending unit. i know defi makes replacements. i would contact any defi gauge dealer and see if they can help you out. they may not list it on their websites but im sure oneone can help you out.

i even looked at http://www.egauges.com/vdo_sgr...nders and it seems like one of those would work. but i wasnt sure since there are no pictures or anything. i'd give them a call and see what part you need.

defi guages come with a warranty card good for 1 year. So if it's within that time frame and you've still got that piece of paper, then you're good. If not then it's to buy a new sending unit.

 

Where could I pick up one of those?
