Default defi gauge question

this is for those with defi gauges or has experience with them in their R.

im looking to get the defi boost and oil pressure gaugedefi link II control unit?

or can i just hook it up to all the appropriate wires and vac lines?

ive hooked up gauges before but never have had to hook them to a unit prior to other things like website states.

im not sure. it says that i need it but i just want to make sure.

thanks.

Default Re: defi gauge question

If you buy the BF gauges, you have to use the control unit. The control unit wires to power, ground, ignition, and sensor inputs. The control unit outputs to the gauges.

Only one wire per gauge needs to be run from the control unit instead of power, ignition, gnd, and separate input for every gauge.
