Default DEATH to test only smog

I got a letter about getting my car done at a test only center... Im 100% screwed. Am i going to have to sell my car after 4 months of hard work and not even driving??? im at a loss of what to do. I have just spent my last pennys on injectors( because SOMEONE sold me the wrong ones 4 months ago, before i even started putting in the kit) and tuning... well saving up for tuning. There is no way i have the resources to take out the turbo setup, and if I were too, I still have a 2.0 block with 9.1:1 cr which would probably fail any ways. is there ANYTHING i can do or, am i going to have to kill myself.

man i guess good luck, i thought everybody here in cali knows that any car that has to be smogged you have to stick with parts that have a carb eo number or a spare motor to smog it with.

the surprise is that there asking him to take it to a test only center. Usually you just get something in the mail to renew your registration. You get a smog, pay your fee, and your done...

I got the option of of the reg or test only, and I went to a test only one anyways. $150 will get you passed. I had to bring an identical car as mine to get it smogged though which is a hassle since I'm OBDII. But my friends didn't even need their cars. Just bring in their paper and they passed since they're OBDI
