Dash went out...
i got into my car yesterday and my dash is completely off. No rpm's, no mph, no gas readings, no nothing... My turn signals don't work either. I have checked all fuses that i know of(the box under the steering wheeel and the one in the engine bay and don't see anything blown. One thing that does happen is when i try to use the emergency lights it blows the fuse in the engine bay for the hazard lights. i put a new one in and it blows real quick. i have checked all connections on the back of the dash. nothing seems to be disconnected or anything. When i startup the car the SRS light and the battery light comes on but not the other lights that usually come on for checks or whatever. you know how the CEL and a couple others come on at the beginning. Does anyone have any ideas. thanks in advance. Corey
looked in the manual and didn't see anything... i have a 95 civic Si. i'm thinking a relay went bad or something.
The only good thing out of this is that i am not gaining any mileage

hey, that's happened to me so many times. when it happened to me though, it was a wire from the radio(positive) touching a piece of metal. i think it was the dimmer wire or something like that. but yeah, it was a positive wire somewhere. better look around before you blow something really big.
