Darton SLeves
I had an engine built at a machine shop.
They told me they were giving me a gsr block with block guard
I just took the block in to another machinist to get the rings replaced.
The machinist noticed the cylinders were sticking up a bit higher then the deck.
I have heard this is for better sealing.
The machinist decked the block because the cylinders were sticking up and then honed it.
When he honed it he noticed the sleeves were made out of a strong mettle and told me they must be darton sleeves.
Is it okay to have darton sleeves and the deck flat?
because i heard most people leave the sleeve stick out a bit. This way it seals better around the cylinder.

You should learn something about Hondas and maybe you would be informative and yours wouldn't be slow and breaking down all the time.
