Default damn, still no start - BLACK s.plugs?

JDM B16A wont start.

installed MSD coil and cap cause i thought the coil was bad.

still wont start.

no codes at all

cranks fine (battery is getting low now...) there are sparks at the leads

took s.plugs out - they are BLACK as!

fuel volume seems ok - havent tested fuel pressure yet.

could the injectors be leaking?

please help! any ideas?

t..

What car, what ECU.

Did you wire it properly?

More details please.

does the starter turn over? have you checked if the fuel pump is functioning correctly? timing?

sounds like (cylinder) timing is off ... did you put your ign wires on correctly ? did you touch your injector wires ? fuel is not firing at the same time as spark.

um, yeah, my bad,

all wires are good, tested for fuel PRESSURE last night,

well, the surge tank was not supplying fuel pressure - only volume, ie it would pump fuel but not pressureised,

turns out to be a internal hose connection inside the surge tank, easy fixed with a new fitting and clamp...(gotta pull it apart though)

so now i got a new MSD setup as well!

thanks for your input guys!
