Default D16z6 vs. D15b

i don't know a great deal about either motor...which would be a better swap going into a 93 civic 4 door, the d16z6 or a jdm d15b vtec...please help me out im planning on doing a swap this week...thx

i would definately go with the Z6. more power more torque and more potential.

i'd go second gen JDM ZC.....i have a d15b7 currently and when dies or i get sick of it i am gonna through a zc in its DOHC, has the same power as the Z6 and there's no vtec

If your budget allows, I'd look at B-series motor. But, if you can only have one of those two motors, go with the Z6. Good potential and large aftermarket support.

I would stick with either a a6,z6,y7, or y8 motor.. I have heard that the d15b motor is kinda hard to get parts for but I dont know..

I do know that my y7 motor held up to 200whp and never had a problem.. My d15b7 motor blew after an hour of low boost..
