Default d16y7 to d16y8 intake mani conversion

I was wondering if I could just use my y7 fuel rail and all the other stuff with the y8 mani...

All help appreciated...

I believe you can reuse your Y7 fuel rail on a Y8 I/M, but don't quote me.

You can reuse your injectors for sure.

You will definitely need to reuse your Y7 throttlebody (TB) & ECU though, because of the 3-wire IACV factor. You cannot use the Y8 throttlebody because of the 3-wire IACV factor, unless, the Y8 I/M you're using is from an AUTO EX and has the IACV equipped with it. Btw, auto EX's use a 3-wire IACV just like all Y7 engines.

oh yeah...
When reusing your Y7 TB, you might need to change the Y7's throttle cable pully because its pulling from the opposite direction when using it on a Y8 I/M.

Yes...damn near everything bolts up. Your purge valve will bolt to the fuel rail if you unbolt it to the mount it is already attached to. Got a y8 throttle rotor??? If not, you need one
