D16A6 valvespring upgrades EXOSPEED help plz
Dang $320+ for Isky or RS valvesprings and retainers!!!
Wondering if stock 88-89 Integra Valvesprings are much of an upgrade over the stock D16A6 pieces. I KNOW THEY FIT, but is there any benefit?

woops.. sorry missed this post awhile back.
Isky Valvetrain kit is a GREAT upgrade for the D series. its already manufactured with Performance camshafts in mind. The specs are good for the high lift cams we sell. ISKY brand/manufacturer are good kits... Im sure many of you have heard of the name... They are the leading manufacturer for performance valvetrain for decades...
As far as the integ springs... if its a brand new set and the cam you are using isnt a race cam, im sure it would be fine. There wouldnt really be a benefit over the stock A6 valvetrain.
like I've said before... MOST A6 camshafts dont have that high of a lift and the stock valvetrain can handle up to stock Rev limiter. Once you are going higher than the stock Rev limit, then thats when the performance valvetrain comes into lay.
BTW: if there is interest in SOHC valvetrain.. let me know.
