Default d16a vs d16y8 vs d16z6

Ok, I am in the market for a new motor, here pretty soon. Now I was looking into getting an d16y8. Hmotorsonline told me, That the JDM d16a (v-tec 96- 2000) are the same. Does that mean I could put Y8 Gaskets,Pistons and rods.

basically this setup

I also looked online and found that the d16z6 is the same as the d16a. I don't want to get a motor and not able to use the setup a want ( The link above ).

I have a d14 turbo that I am going to be putting on it also. ( reasoning for the aftermarket pistons and rods)

I hope this makes sense. haha

Thanks
