Default d16 noise, having trouble Identifying it.

Im having alittle trouble figuring out what this noise is coming from my engine and was hoping that someone here can identify it. So far ive re-adjusted the vavle lash three times to no avail and also changed the timing belt because it was really loose. I have read that it could possible be a bad or clogged oil pump and screen, not allowing enough oil to get into the head, but what do you think.

Heres the noise:

Thanks,
Ryan

That sounds like straight up ***... How does your oil pressure look? Is the noise coming from the head, or the block?

Oil pressure is fine when your cruising but once the car warms up it has trouble staying at idle and wants to stall out. The oil light comes on once the car goes below 1000 rpms also. Im going to take the oil pump out and look at it along with clean up the oil screen im thinking, but any other suggestions would be great. The motor ha 196,000 miles on it and has been on three 5,000 road trips in the last two months so its been pritty busy. About a week into the last one things started to go south. I guess problems were bond to arise.

O yah the noise is coming from the Head.

If you've been driving with the oil light on, I'm guessing its safe to say that your bearings are most likely trashed... With that mileage i'd just look into rebuilding it IMO... New oil pump, bearings, rings, seals, etc..

Alright thanks LSVTEC 91 Civic, the light only comes on if you allow it below 1000 rpm so it really hasnt been sitting down there.
