d16 in a go kart?

what would it take to put a d16 in a go kart and actually have it work right?
or any other suggestions?

Hopefully you can make one for less than 17K. That is rediculous, I wouldn't mind having one but wow.

Why not do the motorcycle motor in a go-kart, lighter and more than likely easier.
