D16 Cam Poll! :)
D16's have a lot of ptential get a JRSC and NOS or Turbo and NOS. Can beat a lot of the so called DOHC cars out there. adn cheper too. If it blows good then you get a new engine. Simple as that
I know man, but the bottom line is i dont have the cash for a turbo, and i dont have the cash for a swap, i can maybe buy the engine but the installation is too expensive, and i need my car to drive everyday. Plus swapping the engine on a 99 model is crazy.
KaMiN, you're being a little too hard on the SOHC engines. They DO have a lot of potential... if you're willing to put the work into them
. They pull a lot harder at a lot lower rpm than my DOHC does, that's for sure!

I agree with kamin, most people i know with built d16's still are not as fast as a minorly built b16.Save up for a swap or plan on boostin with a fully built d16 bottom end.

Swappin on a 99 crazy???
Hell no! I'm swapping in another D16Y8 into my 99EX... a built-up one my buddy and I put together... 9.0:1 SRPs w/ Eagles... mmmmmm.... I can feel it already.... mmmm....
BTW, while on the topic of cams, are there any good turbo cams for the D16Y8, or should I just stick to the stock cam?
