Default d15b7 to d16y8 Swap

okay i have a 99 civic and im going to put a B series motor in it, but a friend of mine wants to put my Supercharged d16y8 in to his 92 dx hatch which has a d15b7 non V-tech, my car is an At right now but is going to be converted during the b series swap, the hatch is also an At so there wouldnt really be a prob with the transmission, both cars are in Ca so how hard is this going to be to complet and to make it smog legal? thanks
