Default D15B VTEC pressure switch...

I did some searching, and found out that some JDM engines didnt come with a VTEC pressure switch, and that it was controlled from the ECU... Well I think my engine is one that dosnt have one... I am using the P28 ECU, which will search for one... I know I can do the jumper wire from D6 to A4 or whatever it is, but I would prefer too add a switch for safe measures...

Heres a pic of my VTEC silenoid:

So my question is, can I take out that bolt the arrow is point too, and add a VTEC pressure switch? Is that what thats for? Or do I have to buy a different silenoid with a switch?

Thanks in advance!

take the bolt out. throw a shitch in. your lucky some didnt even come with the bolt, was just blocked off and you had to replace the whole vtec assy.

So, to add a switch, I just remove that bolt and screw in the sensor?

take the vtec oil pressure sensor from your old vtec solenoid, unscrew that bolt and put the sensor in its place. then put that bolt in your old head so it doesn't leak.
check the sig i think theres a clear pic of it done on mine.
