Default d15/d16 interchangability ?s

Has anyone tried to use a d16a6 crank/rods with d15b2 pistons in a b2 block? Are the main bearings identical between the a6 and b2? Are there any differences that would make this not possible? Thanks to anyone who has this info.

you cannot put a d16 crank into any d15. The main journals are to small in the d15. Yes, you can use the d15b2 pistons in an a6 block though, and it will give u a lil higher compression. Or use d15b7(dx) pistons becuz they have .4 more points higher compression than the SI.
