D series motors
First off I have a 93 Del Sol S (stock D15 engine). Is it true that ANY D series motors' parts will work with my D15? I am looking for parts and all I can ever find is stuff for the Del Sol Si. Will these parts work on my car? Also, by using parts from a different D motor, will it cause any compatibility issues at any point? Are all D series motors SOHC non-VTEC? Please someone help me out. I will appreciate any help anyone has to offer. Thank you.

What kind of parts? If you mean "bolt on" performance parts like header, intake, Cam gear ( if interested, check sig ), Intake manifolds, etc; then yes.

I don't think you can use the D16 cam shafts, but you can use the gears.
I'm not too sure about the block internals. I think the D15 has a smaller stroke, but the same bore (or is it the other way around
). If I am correct you should be able to use the same pistons, but the compression might not be the same. Anyways, There should be pistons for the D15.
oh yeah, you can also use the metal head gaskets for the D16.
