d15 parts on d16

Default d15 parts on d16

just like title says
if i got a header and cam gear, and tb spacer and intake for my d15 then swapped a d16 it should all bolt up to a d16 too right?

I believe they should all work. Check on the cam geat, cause that one I'm unsure of.

They will all interchange, but the cam gear will be off in it's timing marks. To make it easy on yourself, I'd just wait on the cam gear. But it will bolt to either and work, it will just take some figureing to get the timing correct.

He's right. all series parts are interchangable within that series. For example all d series parts are interchangable with other dseries parts. I don't know much about cam gears, but when you buy a header it usually lists both motors 1.5/1.6

Sorry 93civiccxhatch, but they are not "all" interchangeable. I was specifying the particular parts that he listed, not saying that all d series parts will interchange with other d series parts. It's simply not true. There are alot of things that will interchange, which does make it nice when scavengine junkyards for parts.

well wouldn't a ex piston not fit a dx piston because of the .1 liter difference, or does that not matter?

they would fit, actually the dx piston raised compression i believe
