Default D-b16b help.

Hey guys I'm a little new to this so be gentle. I had a few question about my swap, not how to swap the engine but more the prep I guess. Let me start with the details. I have a 99 ex coupe. I had swapped in a d16z6 on account
Of my y8 spinning it's little bearing out lol. So now the z6 is knocking and I just ordered a B16b full swap from hmotors. So here is a list of what I got/ what I'm getting.

B16b engine and trans,
Hasport mounts
Hasport axles (came free with purchase of mounts, win.)
Ecu (pct)
Shift linkage

Now this is what I bought
ACT clutch kit 6 puck sprung
Skunk2 intake manifold (black series, more because it's pure sex)
Mishi radiator hoses (already have radiator and slim fan)
Energy suspension shifter bushings
Skunk2 magnetic drain plugs
Thermal IM gasket.
I'm getting the 70mm skunk2 tb this weekend.

I guess my questions are
1. What can I do to the engine bay (which is stock aside from the radiator) to make the swap go a bit easier. Can anything be removed?
2. I plan on looping the power steering
System, and good suppliers for parts or just get fittings at lowes?
3. Can you guys recommend what oil I should use, I want to go synthetic because I heard it's better than standard, as far as additives breaking down
goes. Would I have to change anything internally? Ie. Seals gasket, anything of that nature.

Sorry for the long tread and all the question i just want to do this swap right and I know HT has some really good guys here. I hope my format is good and I won't get that much grief lol thanks in advance!

Instead of looping the lines I usually remove the factory fittings, fill the rack with fluid and use a "block off plug".

You can loop the power steering and still have great steering remove the pump, resevoir and pipes and loop it at the rack with some rubber hose. this will do but it will be stiff, but driveable. i would HIGHLY reccomend that you cut the rubber hose you used to loop the rack nd put a breather on it, a small break fluid resevoir works great. dont fill the resevoir up as this defeats the purpose but it works great and makes parallel parking a dream

im also doing a b16b swap but im swapping out the b16b crankshaft and connectin rods and putting in the b18c crankshaft and connecting rods. this is a straight swap as the blocks are the same size so you basically stroke the engine out to 1.8

hope i helped some bit good luck
